Early life
  • She had been born in Eastbourne, England, then she moved to live with her grandmother in Yorkshire.
  • As she was a teenager she was bothering with anorexia for a couple of years. 
  • She was working at the Croydon Advertiser
  • Angela was studying English Literature at the University of Bristol as she was following in her father's footsteps.
Adult life
  • Angela was married twice her first marriage was really long as it was lasting for 12 years.
  • She moved to Tokyo for two years.
  • She was living in the Universities for 20 years.
  • Carter has adapted many works to the radio.
  • Unfortunately, she has died of cancer.
The literary career of Angela
  • Angela was a feminist
  • She has written the "Magical Realism"
  • Her books were very didactic
  • She has used "Intertextual web" so the allusion and man influences
  • Angela was fascinated by folklore
  • Her most important work was the "Bloody chamber" which was mostly influenced by folklore
